I found some images a few days ago

what a nostalgic matchbox

these are the old style matchbox that I used when I was little

the bottom one come form guangzhou city which is my hometown

when I see it, I decide to make a new box for it

cause next year 2013 is the snake year for the Chinese new year

that will be very interesting because this is hometown's stuff

 But I think i'd prefer doing the matchbox

final book cover product

we got the critique last thursday
I really found that the cover looks like a children's book
I still remember that book is a fiction
I tried to not draw the animals too cartoony
I know I dont know the book very well
And I will chang the font of all the words
I will do my best

book cover's choice

my book cover choice is "Animals in translation"

i have never read tihs book before

at the begining, i just thought the title was interesting
so I picked it as my choice 
but Prof. Taylor  told me that she like this book so much
and the book is not the fiction
it is more serious, science book
i know i was wrong
i drew a dog listened to the music
a  funny and relaxed puppy
after read a little summary
the author talks about several animals
maybe I can put the animals around the  border
